The Community BlueScapes project, a partnership between Richmond Council, Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) and Barnes Common Ltd, has launched two new pots of funding to support projects that help with flood resilience and climate adaptation in the Beverley Brook catchment area.

This scheme will help voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations (VCSEs) across England to deliver more efficient services for people and communities by saving money on their energy bills, with the potential for capital grants to make recommended improvements.

Expressions of Interest are invited from local organisations which support the wellbeing of children and young people to become beneficiary charities of the Richmond Voluntary Fund in 2024.

Grants are available to support rowing clubs, community organisations, schools and charities that are working to get more people involved in rowing and make the sport more accessible.

The Association of Independent Museums’ (AIM) Brighter Day Grant Scheme, funded by the Arts Scholars Charitable Trust, will provide support for museums that are at risk of closing, losing important skills and knowledge, or unable to care for their collections effectively.
