A new funding strategy has been announced by the Steel Charitable Trust which is expected to be effective for the next five years.

A new small grants programme has opened to improve health and care equity by amplifying the voices of minoritised communities and those furthest from services.

The trustees of this local Fund are inviting expressions of interest from voluntary and community organisations to be the chosen beneficiaries of the 2025 Charity Appeal.

The Wakeham Trust offers small grants to micro-scale community projects that may find it hard to appeal to larger and more formal funding bodies.  They are especially interested in helping groups that are starting up and need a little seed money to help them get going

This £5 million grant programme aims to give children across the UK a stronger start in life through grants which help provide nutritious food and healthy activities that support young people’s physical health and mental wellbeing.

This is the final year of this Foundation’s programme of support for small charities, and arts and learning charities.

This funding is focused on supporting small, local, specialist charities that understand the complexity of the issues people face and are best placed to make a genuine difference to people’s lives.  

For the seventh year, small grants are available to support campaigning and influencing work that enables women and girls to use their voice to achieve change.
