British Rowing and Love Rowing are working in partnership to create more opportunities in rowing, aiming to change lives and break down barriers that prevent disabled people from accessing the physical and mental health benefits of the sport.
British Rowing affiliated clubs or associate organisations aiming to create more opportunities for disabled people to access rowing but lacking the equipment can apply for up to £2,000.
There should be a connection with a Learn to Row programme held by the club and the equipment should aim to enable rowers with a disability or impairment to progress and develop their skills on the water.
The Fund is also looking for a commitment to learning more about how to coach adaptive rowing / mixed ability rowing and will offer CPD to support coaches, in addition to the grant funding.
Priority will be given to clubs which have previously not been able to offer any form of rowing opportunity for someone with a disability or impairment, due to lack of equipment or coaching skills.
Evidence of match funding will also be treated favourably.
Applications close at 12 noon on Friday 11 July 2025.
Decisions will be communicated by Monday 4 August 2025.
