NEW JOB: Event Planner, SEEN – apply by 13 May

Salary: £15.72 per hour / 5 hours per week

A part-time, proactive and organised Event Planner is needed for this local charity based in East Twickenham.

SEEN is looking for a someone to develop and deliver high-quality events that raise awareness of their work.

They are a Christian charity providing unbiased health and relationship support and education, to young people and adults, and those facing any pregnancy loss or crisis.

The role would suit someone who is creative, detail-focused, and confident managing logistics, people, and deadlines.

The key responsibilities involved are to:

  • plan and deliver events that support SEEN’s objectives
  • build strong relationships with volunteers, suppliers, venues, and attendees
  • promote events and raise awareness of SEEN’s services
  • manage event timelines, logistics, and budgets
  • ensure events run smoothly and safely.

The essential skills required for the role are strong communication and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise, multitask and work independently, and confidence in managing details, timelines and people. You’ll also need a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Ideally you’ll have experience of planning events and working with volunteers, or in a charity setting.

It’s a flexible part-time opportunity which can fit around other commitments, where you’ll meet new people and build positive connections across the local community.
