Help an established local organisation to improve the lives of marginalised people through music, by building relationships and support from community groups and local businesses.
The Otakar Kraus Music Trust (OKMT) is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Community & Local Business Fundraiser to help them grow support their work across Richmond and surrounding areas.
OKMT uses music therapy and inclusive music projects to improve the lives of over 500 children and adults each year, including people with disabilities, neurological conditions and dementia.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new role within a small, friendly charity. You will:
- build relationships with local businesses, schools, clubs and community organisations
- develop sponsorship and Charity of the Year opportunities
- support fundraising events individual fundraisers
- help inspire more people across their community to support OKMT.
They are looking for a confident, warm and self-motivated relationship-builder with experience of fundraising, business development, or a related field and a track record of generating income.
The post is offered on a 12-month contract basis with potential for extension subject to performance against agreed targets.
The closing date for applications is 24 September 2026.
