This Foundation has provided Small and Main grants to support arts, cultural and youth-focused organisations working with children and young people through the arts, artists and creative media.
The Ragdoll Foundation has now announced that its Open Grants Scheme will close for applications after the Spring main grants round. The deadline for organisations to apply is 28 February 2022.
They are developing a new priority area which will support gifted young women from disadvantaged backgrounds to develop their talents and skills in the arts and creative media, with a view to achieving their full potential. Projects receiving this funding will start delivering in September 2022 or later.
Priority will be given to projects that:
- are high quality, experimental, and innovative for the organisation
- have a strong commitment to listening to and working with participants (eg. taking a collaborative approach)
- take place outside of London
- are of strategic value for the organisation
- have the potential to share learning
- have the potential to become models of good practice.
The closing date for organisations to apply to this new strand is 31 March 2022.
Applicants will be advised of their Stage One outcome by the end of April. If successful, you will be invited to make a Stage Two proposal. These will be considered by the trustees in June 2022.
