FUNDING: London Resilient Communities – apply by 10 Dec

This is a new programme to support the capital’s voluntary, community and faith sectors to be more resilient in the face of emergencies.

Evidence shows that communities play a critical role in responding to and recovering from emergencies, and Greater London Authority (GLA) wants to empower all communities to improve their preparedness.

The new programme provides a suite of free online support tools including videos, templates and other resources to help achieve this.

It is delivered in partnership between Groundwork London, Communities Prepared (Groundwork South) and The British Red Cross.

Application can be made for to help support the development of a Community Emergency Plan or become a Community Resilience Hub:

  • Developing a Community Emergency Plan: £500
  • Becoming a Community Resilience Hub: £1,000

The scheme will close on at 5pm on Wednesday 10 December 2025.

Successful applicants will have access to a series of online sessions providing further expert support, and the opportunity to network with their fellow grantees.

Questions about the programme should be emailed to londonresilience@groundwork.org.uk.
