This new fund from Consortium is focused on supporting LGBT+ global majority community groups and organisations across the UK.
A total amount of £30,000 comes from a partnership with The Funding Network and GiveOut, under the badge of City for LGBT+ – a live crowdfunding event which is held annually.
Applicants should be UK-based non-profit organisations that are majority led by and for LGBT+ people of the global majority. This includes groups that support either all LGBT+ global majority people or LGBT+ people of a particular heritage/ethnicity from the global majority.
Grants range from £500 to £3,000 and applicants are welcome to apply for the amount they need to undertake their work.
All grants must be fully spent by 31 October 2026.
Funded work should aim to achieve one or more of the outcomes:
- Connecting people and communities
- Creating safer communities
- Improving health and wellbeing
- Improving policymaking
- Improved service provision.
The funding can be used for core costs, project costs and events.
Smaller organisations will be prioritized over large organisations where a smaller amount of funding can go further.
The closing date for applications is 12 midday on Wednesday 3 September 2025.
The funder aims to let applicants know the outcome of their applications by the end-October 2025.
