Grants are available to UK arts-based organisations for activities and projects that promote the arts for public benefit.
The Jerwood Foundation expects to award up to £2 million annually to support excellence and emerging talent in the arts and crafts.
No specific grant amount is given but previous awards have ranged from £1,000 to £150,000 to support artists and arts organisations to continue to develop their skills, imagination and creativity.
Trustee meetings take place three times a year when the applications are considered.
They will only consider applications for projects starting more than 3 months, but less than 12 months, from the funding round closing date.
Applications can be submitted by email or post and should be a maximum of 10 sides of A4 paper.
Successful applicants will be contacted within two weeks of the trustee meeting date.
The next application deadline is 5pm on the Friday 14 June 2024.
