This winter, this fund has a particular focus on Financial Wellbeing, as well as Climate Action, and is offering a offering a one-off funding boost.
Registered charities can apply for up to £50,000 through the Aviva Community Fund, for projects that enhance community resilience through their two priorities.
Match funding is available, using the Crowdfunder platform, for fresh ideas. Donations given will be matched by the Fund, up to the value of £250.
For Financial Wellbeing projects, the first 200 projects to go live on the Fund webpage will receive a one-off £500 fundraising boost.
It also has the ambition for the UK to become the most climate-ready large economy by 2030 and wants to support healthy, thriving communities by preventing, preparing for and protecting against the impacts of climate change.
Once applications have been submitted, applicants need to create a fundraising page on Crowdfunder that Aviva employees can browse and donate funds to. Applicants can also showcase their projects to raise additional public donations.
A range of useful online resources and webinars are also available to help organisations plan and manage their crowdfunding.
