FUNDING: Aviva Fdn Communities & Financial Futures (15 Apr)

Aviva Foundation is a new chapter in how Aviva is supporting communities in the UK. They have brought together their previous charitable funds into a single programme, focused on Community and Financial Futures.

The Communities Fund supports small, local charities and non-profits tackling financial and climate challenges – whether it’s helping people take control of their financial wellbeing, or protecting the places they love in a changing climate.

It’s a rolling fund for UK-based organisations with an annual turnover of a maximum of £1 million. It aims to donate over £2 million annually, including up to £1.5 million in match funding, and over £0.5 million in donations directed by Aviva employees.

Up to £25,000 in match funding per calendar year is available to organisations, with a maximum of £250 matched for each unique donation. Two applications per year can be made.

This funding will close when the annual cap is reached,

The Financial Futures Fund works in partnership with organisations across the UK to improve financial resilience. The purpose is to fund long-term solutions that help people feel more secure, confident, and in control of their financial future. It provides multi-year, grant-funding and is designed for organisations that have the potential to strengthen the financial resilience of those who need it most. There are two application rounds:

  • Round one: 15 April 2026
  • Round two: 7 October 2026.
