FUNDING: FUEL 2024 Holiday Activity Fund – apply by 31 Jan

Apply now if your local organisation would like to help deliver this children’s holiday activity programme across Kingston and Richmond.

Achieving for Children (AfC) will once again partner with providers to help deliver the FUEL (Feed Ur Everyday Lives) holiday activity and food programme (HAF) in Kingston and Richmond boroughs.

The programme is funded by the Department of Education and run by Achieving for Children and makes free places at holiday clubs available during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays for young people who receive benefit-related free school meals.

The aim is for young people to:

  • eat healthily and understand nutrition
  • be more active through engaging and enriching activities
  • be safe and not to be socially isolated
  • learn more about the different services families have available in the local area.

Young people can attend 4 sessions over Easter, 16 sessions over the summer and 4 sessions over winter.

Organisations can apply now to work with AfC across Easter, Summer and Winter 2024 or can apply for only Easter 2024 using the same form.

Links to the guidance document and application form are below. All applicants should read the guidance before submitting an application:
