The Mayor of London has made funding available for community projects which use sport and physical activity to bring Londoners together and improve physical health.

Richmond groups are amongst those specifically invited to the launch of this new grant scheme, which is part of Walking and Cycling Grants London.

Trust for London and Crowdfunder have launched this fund to help projects find the funding and support they need to turn their ideas into a reality.

As part of his Green New Deal, the Mayor is investing in projects that create and improve green and blue spaces across the capital, and that enhance our resilience to the impacts of climate change. 

The Near Neighbours programme offers small grants of £250 to £3,000 as seed funding for local groups and organisations who are working to bring neighbours together.

Places Called Home is a new funding programme from a partnership between The National Lottery Community and the world’s largest home furnishing retailer, IKEA.

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to UK registered charities and other charitable organisations for projects that support disadvantaged people, animal welfare, the Armed Forces or the local community.

The Pilgrim Trust offers small (up to £5,000) and main grants for projects in the UK, with a focus on heritage and preservation and social welfare for vulnerable women and girls.

The Victoria Wood Foundation supports all aspects of the Arts, particularly in and around London and the North of England.
