Voluntary, community and faith organisations are invited to share their views and help review and improve the borough’s future emergency & disaster response.
Working with Richmond Council and the Richmond Multi-Agency Borough Resilience Forum, Richmond CVS is conducting a review of learning from recent emergency responses.
At the heart of how communities get through emergency situations is our resilience – using our strengths to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies, and sharing knowledge and skills.
Richmond has a strong, vibrant voluntary and community sector and we are keen to bring your experiences and views to the local and national conversations in this field.
At this stage, we are asking people in the voluntary, community and faith sectors about previous emergency responses and preparedness for future responses, alongside anything that might help you with this.
The aim is to improve communication and co-ordination between the voluntary and statutory sectors and enable us together, as a borough, to better respond in all types of disasters and emergencies. The focus is on information, training and frameworks.
Your help in completing our brief survey will be greatly appreciated. Views from across organisations and teams are welcomed, so please do share and encourage participation with anyone you think may have relevant insight and experiences.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes and contains an immersive reader function. Answers will be treated in confidence and the results will be anonymised in project reports.
