ASDA has reopened its range of small grant programmes to support grass roots organisations delivering support in their communities, including those that respond to current need.
The three key schemes are:
- U18 better Start Grants for local groups – offering £400 to £2,000 and aimed at supporting a broad range of activities for children under the age of 18 which contribute towards transforming communities and improving children’s lives, including strengthening volunteering, and food and essentials
- Empowering Local Communities for local groups – also offering £400 to £2,000 but aimed at supporting a broad range of activities for those aged over 18 which contribute towards transforming communities and improving lives, including including strengthening volunteering, and food and essentials
- Cost of Living Grant for local groups – again offering up to £2,000 and empowering local groups to respond to rising demand whilst facing increasing running costs, it supports rent, utility and essential costs, as well as funding to strengthen volunteering.
Early application is advised, as the schemes will close once they reached their budget cap.
