FUNDING: ASDA Foundation – next deadline 1 March

ASDA has a range of grants available to support grass roots organisations delivering support in their communities, including thematic grants that respond to current need.

There are currently three grants schemes open to applications:

  • U18 better Start Grants for local groups – aimed at supporting a broad range of activities for children under the age of 18 which contribute towards transforming communities and improving children’s lives, as well as funding to strengthen volunteering
  • Empowering Local Communities for local groups – aimed at supporting a broad range of activities which contribute towards transforming communities and improving lives as well as funding to strengthen volunteering
  • Cost of Living Grant for local groups – aimed at supporting the increase costs groups are facing as a result of the financial crisis. It will support rent, utility and essential costs as well as funding to strengthen volunteering.

Groups are advised to apply early, as the schemes will close once they reached their budget cap.

The first step is to get in touch with your ASDA Community Champion. There are local stores in Twickenham, Roehampton, Kingston and Hounslow.

Find store details and more details at the ASDA Foundation Grants webpage.
