The Screwfix Foundation offers local registered charities and not for profit organisations funding of up to £5,000.
The Foundation has the purpose of supporting projects that will fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and community facilities for those in need. They work with national and local charities to help all sorts of projects. They might repair a building to improve facilities in a deprived area or they could decorate the home of someone living with sickness.
Application is made by a brief online form.
They are reviewed on a quarterly basis in March, June, September and December.
The cut off date is 4pm on the 10th of the month prior to the Trustee meeting (unless the 10th falls over a weekend, then the cut off will be 4pm on the Friday before).
