Small and larger funding awards are available for smaller charities and good causes in the south of England under a range of eight themes.

The funding rounds open every month in 2022, from February to October. Rounds open at the start of each month but can close very quickly.

The eight themes are:

• Improving mental wellbeing
• Enabling community participation in the arts
• Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty
• Supporting marginalised groups and promoting equality
• Improving biodiversity & green spaces
• Enabling participation in physical activity
• Responding to the climate emergency & promoting sustainability
• Increasing community access to outdoor space

Dependent on the type of organisation, application can be made for between £500 and £2,500 or £500 to £25,000.

Following feedback from previous applicants, and in response to needs created by the Covid pandemic, these amounts have increased on previous years, there is a longer time period of 18 months allowed to deliver activities and unrestricted funding is offered.
