NEW LOCAL FUNDING: Healthy Eating & Nutrition, Active Richmond – apply by 31 March 2022

Local Voluntary Sector groups are invited to apply for a new funding stream for projects that focus on enabling healthy eating choices and improving people’s nutrition.

The new funding is part of the Active Richmond Fund and is being trialled until the end of March 2022.

Eligible projects should cover one or more of the following key outcomes:

  • Providing education and skills building on healthy eating and/or nutrition
  • Increasing the accessibility or availability of healthier nutritious food
  • Promoting the acceptability of healthy eating and good nutrition

Some examples of the types of projects that could apply include:

  • cook and eat educational programmes that provide practical cooking and nutritional advice
  • healthy food options and advice at community centres, foodbanks and surplus food hubs
