Arts Council England is launching a new £5 million funding programme to support voluntary and community organisations in England to develop creative and cultural activities as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The new Let’s Create Platinum Jubilee Fund, will open for applications on 4 January 2022 and will make grants of up to £10,000.
Applicants will be encouraged to think about what creative activity would mean the most to their local communities and why, and to partner with established artists, creatives and cultural organisations to develop activities.
The Fund is open to voluntary and community organisations with charitable aims. Organisations do not have to work solely in arts and culture. It could include youth groups, parent/carer groups and volunteer organisations.
The Fund will be administered by UK Community Foundations and Richmond borough groups will need to apply through the London Community Foundation.
Full guidance can be found on the UK Community Foundations website.
The closing date for applications is 28 February 2022.
