If you love the NHS, you can help to improve it as part of the Richmond Involvement Pool.
Richmond CVS is encourages residents from all backgrounds who use health and care services – as well as those who support them – to join a new network aiming to improve local involvement in health and social care.
It’s a chance to go beyond being ‘consulted’ on finished plans, as members work as equal partners with staff to solve problems and co-design services from the start, as they’re being formed.
Anyone aged 18+ with who uses local health services, receives adult social care, or supports others as an unpaid carer is eligible to join.
No experience is needed – the project values the unique perspective of individuals and their commitment to making services better for everyone. And as the NHS is for everyone, it’s important that the pool is as diverse and representative of all those who use it.
Participation is flexible. How involved, and how often you get involved, is very much your choice. Once signed up, you’ll be contacted with opportunities that fit your interests – it could be a quick survey, a short workshop or focus group, or something more strategic. The options can be in-person or online.
By volunteering a few hours a year and sharing your experience with NHS and social care organisations, you can drive positive change.
