If you are a natural people-person who thrives on building connections, with experience in volunteer coordination and administration, and you have excellent communication and organisational skills, this role is for you.
Richmond Borough Mind is seeking a motivated people-person to coordinate a team of volunteers to deliver important mental health services.
Volunteers are at the heart of everything they do. They help deliver a wide range of mental health services to the local community – from counselling, Peer Group Network, Peer Support to Crisis support. Their dedication makes a real difference and the organisation is committed to supporting them every step of the way.
They are seeking a passionate and proactive Volunteering Coordinator to ensure volunteers feel valued, supported and inspired. In this role, you will:
- Identify and plan for the organisation’s volunteer needs.
- Lead on volunteer recruitment, induction and retention.
- Provide guidance, training and personal development opportunities — with a particular focus on supporting those with lived experience of mental health.
- Build strong relationships, fostering a positive and inclusive volunteer culture.
The role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel within the Borough of Richmond. In return, you’ll join a dedicated team in a supportive environment where your work will have a tangible impact on people’s lives.
Richmond Borough Mind values diversity and difference and welcomes applicants from all sections of the community, particularly individuals with lived experience of mental health problems.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check.
The closing date for applications is Friday 12 September 2025.
