Salary: £24,000 per annum – £27,000 per annum (£40,000–£45,000 FTE) / 24 hours per week (3 full days)

Are you a driven, tenacious and experienced fundraiser who could actively broaden this specialist school’s network of potential donors?

The Senior Development Manager for Rambert School will generate the School’s philanthropic revenue from existing and new sources, with a focus on Trusts and Foundations. This is primarily for student scholarships and bursaries, capital projects, and academic and creative initiatives.

With a focus on Trusts and Foundations and membership schemes, they will be instrumental in the School’s fundraising efforts, working closely with the Head of Development, and other senior colleagues, to maximise fundraising in all areas.

The post holder will establish and cultivate enduring and valuable relationships and will secure substantial funding for every aspect of the School’s operations.

The School currently raises approximately £300,000 each year to support scholarships and bursaries, drawing on income from trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, individual donations, and fundraising events.

In addition to this core fundraising, the School has historically set and achieved varied targets aligned with specific activities, including capital projects and operational costs.

While Trusts and Foundations have been the primary source of income in recent years, their current strategic focus is to diversify and grow their individual giving programme – with a particular emphasis on cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals.

First interviews will be held online and second interviews in-person at the School from mid-late June, with the successful applicant to be appointed as soon as possible, based on availability.
