Driven, strategic and enthusiastic? Join an award-winning charity tackling isolation across generations.
Brighter Together is looking for someone to join their small and ambitious team in this exciting opportunity to take a leading role in scaling their intergenerational programme. The programme brings together older adults and young children to build meaningful relationships, reduce isolation and support wellbeing across generations.
They are a growing intergenerational charity based in South West London which connects older adults living in care settings with local nursery-aged children for structured weekly sessions rooted in play, creativity, and connection. The results are transformative – children develop empathy, communication, and confidence and older adults gain renewed purpose, improved wellbeing, and deep social connection.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. You’ll be responsible for developing new projects and partnerships and shaping and delivering our programme across London. This will involve managing partnerships with care homes, day centres and nurseries, overseeing delivery teams, and driving measurable impact.
They are looking for someone strategic, highly organised, and people-focused, who is excited by the challenge of building something meaningful with limited resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programme development and project management, experience of managing teams, and excellent stakeholder skills. Knowledge of either the early years or adult social care sectors is a plus, but not essential.
Brighter Together is an equal opportunities employer and encourages applications from candidates with a wide range of backgrounds and lived experiences.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Twickenham with regular travel across London.
Applications close at 9am on Monday 16 June 2025.
First round interviews will take place during week commencing 23 June, with final interviews on Friday 4 July 2025.
