JOB: Partnerships Mgr, Marble Hill Playcentres – apply by 22 Apr

Salary: £32,000 per annum pro rata (actual £9,143 per annum) / 10 hours per week

This is a new partnerships role for well-loved local charity, suited to someone looking for a part-time challenge, with a passion for forging new partnerships and projects.

Marble Hill Playcentres is a registered charity (No. 1110615) that provides the only Adventure Playground (for 5-15 year olds) and park-based One O’Clock Club (for 0-5 year olds and their parents) in the borough.

Marble Hill Playcentres gives children freedom to play independently in a uniquely stimulating outside environment, and champions the value of outdoor self-led physical play for children of all ages and needs.

Grant funding from Richmond Council via Cultural Commissioning has enabled us to create a brand new part-time post to strengthen and build new relationships across the community.

The purpose of the post is to build relationships to help the charity to fulfil its mission for children in the local community, to explore opportunities for joint working with other cultural, educational and social entities locally, and to fundraise to increase the sustainability of services and the charity.

They are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about children’s development, outdoor play and community services, and who has experience of working in partnership, managing projects, and helping to raise funds, whether from community fundraising or grant applications.

Funding for the post is confirmed for three years, but may be extended by agreement, subject to further funding.

Applications is by CV and covering letter.

The closing date for applications is Tuesday 22 April 2025.

Interviews are expected to take place week commencing 12 May 2025.
