JOB: Participation & Outreach Asst, Rambert – apply by 13 May

Salary: £26,000 – £27,000 per annum / 40 hours per week with some weekend working

An exciting hands-on opportunity for an experienced, vibrant, creative and engaging individual which will enable the successful candidate to hone and develop their skills and experience in an exciting and forward-facing role.

The Participation & Outreach Assistant will support the Head of Participation, Outreach & Widening Participation (WP), and will work closely with the WP Research & Evaluation Analyst to drive, monitor and evaluate the successful implementation of the projects, aims and objectives outlined in the school’s Access and Participation Plan. 

Your role will support and help further the development of this Rambert School of Ballet & Contemporary department.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Administration of applications for the departments Future Access Projects and Short Courses. 
  • Day-to-day administrative support for wider departmental activities, including database management, management of relevant Microsoft Teams sites, managing registers and student attendance. 
  • Main contact and point of liaison with students and parents of Future Access Projects and Short Courses, including supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Participants, 
  • Basic financial administration. 
  • Administrate participation and outreach activities with external stakeholders, such as schools, colleges, and community groups. 
  • Build and maintain excellent partnerships with local and national schools, colleges, relevant organisations, communities, and other stakeholders. 

This is a full-time 40-hour week position to be worked Monday to Friday.

Additionally there is semi-regular weekend work of approximately four Saturdays per term plus two Saturdays during the Summer Course and occasional evening hours.
