Salary: £30,000 per annum (FTE £50,000) / 24 hours per week, flexible working

Growing Christian charity seeks new CEO with a heart for older people to take on the baton and lead them into their second decade.

Embracing Age is a Christian charity working towards a world where older people are valued, connected and full of hope, by combatting loneliness, mobilising volunteers, equipping churches and speaking out.

It which was founded in 2014 in Richmond and has grown significantly over the last 10 years. Beginning from an embryonic idea of befriending isolated care home residents, it is now an award-winning charity. They have over 150 volunteers making a difference to the lives of care home residents and informal carers, and equipping churches in their work amongst older generations and those living with dementia.

As CEO you will share their Christian values and possess the skills and experience to lead Embracing Age into all that the future holds for the charity. You’ll be responsible for the management and administration of the charity and, together with the Chair, enable the Board of trustees to fulfil its duties and responsibilities for proper governance.

The role is flexible and offers hybrid working. There is an office in East Twickenham and systems are in place to enable staff to work from home.
