FUNDING: William Wates Foundation – apply by 31 July 2023

Grants are available to registered charities and not for profit organisations that work with disadvantaged young people (5-19 years old) to keep them away from anti-social behaviour and criminal activity and to enable them to fulfil their potential.

The William Wates Memorial Trust primarily supports organisations in London and the South East with grants in the region of £30,000 over 3 years.

They also offer a small number of larger grants of up to £50,000 over 3 years.

The Trust is particularly interested in supporting projects that continue to have an impact once their funding has stopped and beyond the end date of projects.

Organisations interested in applying will ideally have no more than 60% of their turnover from public service contracts or other commissioned work.

For consideration at the next trustee meeting in September, the closing date to submit applications is 31 July 2023.
