The National Lottery Community Fund Awards for All funding programme has doubled the size of its maximum small grant size.
Voluntary and community organisations can now apply for grants of £300 to £20,000, for community-led projects lasting for up to two years. The previous maximum grant size was £10,000.
The fund focuses on social connections and community activities which are at the heart of creating healthier, happier lives and a flourishing society.
The funding can support new or existing community led activities and be used for a wide range of costs, including core costs, volunteer expenses, equipment, one-off events, utilities, training and refurbishment works.
Eligible projects must address at least one of the fund’s aims to:
- bring people together to build strong relationships in and across communities
- improve the places and spaces that matter to communities
- help more people to reach their potential, by supporting them at the earliest possible stage
- support people, communities and organisations facing more demands and challenges because of the cost-of-living crisis.
This is an ongoing programme with an application deadline of 16 weeks before the start of activities or spend.
There is a separate specific Awards for All England – Environment Fund.
