The Ulverscroft Foundation supports projects that help visually impaired people.
Grants can be considered where the element of visual impairment is significant.
Applications can only be made by a range of groups in the UK or overseas, including charities, CICs or social groups.
In general the Foundation does not fund staff salaries or ongoing running costs.
Staffing costs for specific, time-limited projects may be considered at the Trustees’ discretion.
Research projects which involve salary costs may also be considered.
The trustees usually meet quarterly to consider appeals in January, April, July and October each year. The deadline to submit appeals is the 15th day of the previous month (ie. December, March, June and September).
Applications can be made online or by post.
