Seed funding is available for ideas across all art-forms, including visual art, theatre, dance, music and spoken word, to celebrate the River Thame’s past and present, and to safeguard its future.
Totally Thames is curated and managed by Thames Festival Trust and aims to work collaboratively with artists, communities, and river interest organisations.
Their Seed Fund can provide up to £1,000 towards costs to artists or art collectives developing a River Thames, waterway, or sustainability themed project, which will also be considered for inclusion in the festival which takes place in September. For certain projects, there may also be marketing and development support.
Applicants must have experience of producing at least one professional artistic project and have a river/water themed project in development. Of particular interest, are projects which explore sustainability and the impact of climate change on the river/water environment.
Projects must have a digital dimension and take place in London, on or around the Thames in the month of September 2024.
If you have an idea and would like to talk it through, request a one-to-one chat during week commencing 26 February. Email the Programme Manager, Annabel Taylor-Munt at a.taylor-munt@thamesfestival.org.
The closing date for applications is Friday 15 March 2024.
Interviews will take place week commencing 25 March 2024.
