The Archer Trust offers grants to UK charities where a small amount will make a big difference.
Their grants are for small organisations that aid or support a defined group of needy or deserving people, for instance, those with physical or mental disabilities or the disadvantaged.
They favour organisations working in areas of unemployment and deprivation and those which make good use of volunteers.
Grants are in the range of £500 and £4,000.
The Trust does not support:
- individuals
- conservation, heritage and environmental projects
- conversions for disabled access
- charities supporting animals
- research.
Applications should be made in writing and sent by post. They are reviewed by the trustees twice a year.
