Tesco Stronger Starts is expanding its commitment to promoting children’s health and wellbeing across the UK, following the success of their Footie for All fund.
Sports and holiday clubs across the UK can apply for a share of £150,000 to provide activities for children under 18 during the summer holidays.
This campaign, delivered in partnership with The Sun newspaper, aims to improve children’s access to physical activity by funding better equipment, resources, and healthy food and snacks for those who need it most.
It will make 150 grants of £1,000 to support a wide range of sports and physical activities to promote children’s health and wellbeing, particularly those who are unable to access their usual provision or where cost is a barrier.
Activity for All Fund can fund 100% of your project costs. However, if you have secured additional funding, there is no limit to what this amount can be and any funding awarded by Tesco can form part of your wider project costs.
The closing date for applications is the 5 August 2024.
