The application period for this environmental charity is open now, to support small projects for charities, social enterprises and grassroots community organisations whose activities are based within the UK.

The theme for Naturesave Trust’s current funding round is sustainable food.

They are looking to support community projects working to reduce food waste and food insecurity.

Awards can be made of up to £5,000. In previous funding rounds, the Trust has awarded grants of between £500 to £2,500.

The Trust is a charity funded by the premiums generated by Naturesave Insurance and focuses primarily on grant funding for environmental projects, and also funds sustainability advice, and a long-running tree planting programme.

There are three funding windows per year, in January, May and September.

The closing date for applications is the 29 February 2024.
