This Foundation supports registered charities benefiting people with a learning disability and their carers, with special emphasis on enhancing opportunity and lifestyle.

They focus on projects connected with care, education, training, development and leisure activities.

Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees and previous grants have ranged between £2,000 and £6,500.

In the first instance, applicants should discuss proposed work either by telephone, email or letter with the Administrator, a minimum of four months in advance of a Board meeting.

The Foundation does not have a website. All applicants must complete an application form and provide a copy of their latest audited accounts.

The Foundation’s trustees consider applications twice a year, normally in June and December.
