Community football clubs in England can apply for funding to improve their pitches through the ‘Power Up Your Grass Pitch’ campaign. 

Launched by the Premier League, the FA, and the Football Foundation, this initiative aims to improve over 20,000 football pitches by 2030.

The Pitchpower app has been developed to support the campaign and empowers community football clubs and organisations to conduct their own grass pitch inspections. A bespoke assessment report with expert grass pitch maintenance advice and recommendations is provided.

Once the assessment is completed and identified through the app, clubs and facilities become eligible to apply for funding for both grass pitch maintenance machinery and equipment, as well as the Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund. The funding offers tapered six-year grants to help sustain and enhance pitches.
