FUNDING: Pink Ribbon Foundation – apply by 30 May 2025

Any charity working in the field of breast cancer can apply for a grant from this Foundation, whose mission is to help charities support clients recovering from breast cancer and live longer, healthier, happier lives.

The Pink Ribbon Foundation funds practical projects and initiatives which aim to help registered charities deliver good physical and mental health to individuals with, and recovering from breast cancer.

For 2025 they have decided to focus, in the main, on organisations with limited financial resources to deliver their services.

Grants of up to £6,000 are available. Application should be made for the level of funding actually required. Higher levels of grants may be awarded at the discretion of the Foundation.

The Foundation funds projects and initiatives that make a direct impact on individuals with breast cancer in the UK and applications should relate to a specific project, although on occasion they have ‘helped out’ with core costs should the need be vital to the continuity of an organisation. Successful grant recipients may allow 15% of the total amount of grant funding awarded as a contribution towards core costs.

In most instances, they will consider funding delivery for projects that are already up and running. These can also be pilot programmes that are being rolled out to reach a new or much wider audience or projects that take a new approach in tackling a specific challenge.

Partnership bids are also accepted.

Before applying, organisations are recommended to check their project meets the Foundation’s funding criteria and email enquiries@pinkribbonfoundation.org.uk to help decide whether to apply.

The closing date for the 2025 funding round is Friday 30 May 2025 but early application is recommended to help the Foundation’s decision process.

Grants are awarded annually in mid-July.
