UK-based schools and not-for-profit organisations can apply for funding for a broad range of projects and activities that promote a better understanding of the environment and countryside, whilst facilitating improved access, education and research.
No minimum or maximum grant size is stated but previous awards suggest a maximum of £5,000 per year for up to three years.
Some local projects which have previously been supported include School Food Matters, Kew Gardens and 6th Brentford Air Scout Group.
Funding proposals should be a maximum of two double-sided A4 pages and clearly relate to the Trust’s objectives.
Applications can be submitted at any time and are accepted by post only.
