The next phase of this fund is now open for innovative projects that could have a big impact on health and wellbeing across South West London (Croydon, Merton, Kingston, Sutton, Richmond, Wandsworth).
There are two parts to the Investment Fund – the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) Priorities Fund (formerly Innovation Fund) and the Health Inequalities Fund.
ICP Priorities Fund:
This is for projects supporting the delivery of the Integrated Care Partnership’s strategic plan and priorities and is divided as follows:
- Category 1: ICP Workforce priority has an allocation of £3,800,000 (80%)
- Category 2: Remaining ICP priorities has an allocation of £950,000 and cross cutting themes focussed (excluding Health inequalities which is the focus of the Health Inequalities fund outlined below) has an allocation of £150,000. The remaining ICP priorities are:
- Preventing ill-health, promoting self-care, and supporting people to manage their long-term conditions
- Supporting the health and care needs of children and young people
- Positive focus on mental wellbeing
- Community based support for older and frail people
The cross cutting themes are:
- Green agenda
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Elevating the patient, carer and community voice.
Bids are invited for projects which are South West London-wide.
Projects will be funded until end of March 2025.
Do ensure you read the ICP Strategic plan as each priority has its own sub priorities – eg. Workforce development focuses on difficult to recruit health and care roles, making SW London a great place to work, supporting local people into employment and designing future workforce.
There are a number of online information workshops for each priority in October. Click here for the dates and to book.

New projects will be funded until March 2025.
In response to feedback from last year’s process, an online portal for applications to both funds has been created. Each fund has a clearly signposted online application form that can be saved and returned to before submission. The portal contains information on how to apply and also how to access technical support.
The closing date for applications is Friday 10 November 2023.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted via email and invited to attend a virtual panel. Selection panels for each of the funds will be held in November 2023.
