The Near Neighbours programme offers small grants of £250 to £3,000 as seed funding for local groups and organisations who are working to bring neighbours together.
Applications are invited for projects that develop relationships across diverse faiths and ethnicities in order to improve their communities.
Eligible projects must fulfil some key criteria and, in addition to bringing people together, work locally and sustainably, improve the community and have a commitment to diversity.
Any organisation interested in applying needs to discuss their idea with their local Near Neighbours Co-ordinator. They will review and support all applications which will be assessed according to a number of priorities. The local co-ordinator covering Richmond is Elizabeth Fewkes.
The fund aims to make decisions on all grant applications within 14 days of receiving all the necessary information.
See the full fund details at the Near Neighbours website.
