Round 1 of the 2025 programme for projects and initiatives across the UK which seek to bring music to their community has opened.
Music for All offers small grants of up to £2,000 under the following categories:
- working with primary-school aged children – groups operating in caring as well as more formal educational settings, and choirs can apply. Applicants should be able to demonstrate ways in which they nurture underprivileged young talent through their work.
- Working with diverse communities from the Global Majority, in collaboration with Black Lives in Music – applicants should be able to demonstrate ways in which they nurture disadvantaged individuals in music-making opportunities.
- Learning and cognitive challenges – groups operating in caring and educational settings can apply, and applications should demonstrate how individuals will be engaging with music-making.
- Guitars (electric) + amplifier + cable – this is to support disadvantaged music makers, and applications must illustrate the impact made on advancing the music making of their group.
The closing date for application for this funding round is 11.59pm on Thursday 27 March 2025.
