A new round of funding from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Wolfson Foundation is open to support capital projects at eligible organisations.
Applications are open for grants of up to £500,000 to support capital projects that improve the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of museums and galleries across England.
The total funding of £4 million funding is for initiatives such as gallery refurbishments, collection storage, and enhanced public spaces.
Projects promoting environmental sustainability and improved visitor experience are strongly encouraged.
The closing date for applications is Friday 14 November 2025.
Funding decisions are expected to be communicated in March 2026.
Awards will be available to claim from April 2026 to March 2027 only.
