FUNDING: Financial Life Skills, MSE Charity – opens 4 Sep 2023

The next round of funding from Money Saving Expert Charity has the theme of Life Changing Transition and opens in September for a very limited application period.

This round will focus on supporting groups that help to improve and deliver personal financial life skills to adults affected by bereavement, redundancy, retirement, relationship breakdown, homelessness, offenders and resettlement.

The charity awards grants of under £7,500 and prefers to fund small to medium-sized non-profit organisations with a constitution. Organisations should have an annual income under £750,000 and have less than six months free reserves.

The application period is set to run from 9am on 4 September until 29 September 2023 but will close as soon as 40 applications are accepted. It is, therefore, recommended you submit you application as early as possible during this period. The previous two rounds have closed mid-month.

The online application needs to be completed in one sitting so you should view the available templates and guidance and prepare your answers in advance.

The Grant Advisory Panel will meet on 7 November and decisions will be advised by 21 November 2023.

Organisations can check eligibility now by taking an online quiz and find links to all relevant templates and information at the MSE Charity website.
