This trust offers small grants to support organisations, causes, and individuals which reflect the family history, as well as current causes and issues.
The key areas of focus are:
- young people in the UK with an emphasis on education and health
- refugees arriving and living in the UK
- promotion of the arts.
The family-run Trust supports 10-20 charitable organisations each year and can be approached by individuals or charities, seeking one-off or repeat donations.
Typically, grants are in the range of £5,000 to £20,000 per year, for up to three years.
They endeavour to support projects with a clearly outlined objective or end goal and also offer governance, input and time, as needed.
Application is made by a short online form.
Bi-annual meetings are held to review applications and realise future projects.
