Apply now to the current round of this local community gardening programme which supports projects in areas close to Squires Garden Centres.
Now celebrating their 90th anniversary, Squires Garden Centres launched this funding opportunity in 2024 to support projects within a 10-mile radius of their Centres. For Richmond borough this includes Twickenham, Shepperton and Long Ditton.
Projects must demonstrate a clear benefit to the wider community and be accessible to anyone in the local area. They will also need to be well maintained beyond the end of the award period.
There is a total funding pot of £5,000, from which awards of up to £500 will be made for initiatives that bring people together, encourage growth and enhance spaces in and around branches of their centres.
By supporting grassroots projects, they aim to celebrate their anniversary in a way that gives back – nurturing people, places and community spirit for generations to come.
Application is by a brief online form.
The closing date to apply is 1 February 2026.
