A simplified small unrestricted grant application will be open for genetic disorder charities in the UK between 1 July and 12 August 2021.
In light of the impact of Covid, Jeans for Genes will focus this funding round on supporting small but vital disorder specific charities to adapt, respond and recover from the affects of the pandemic. They will award a series of one-off unrestricted grants of £2,500 to charities by November 2021.
To be eligible to apply organisations must be a registered charity and be a disorder specific charity or a charity whose beneficiaries are solely those with genetic disorders. They must also have been operating for a minimum of three years and have an annual income of less than £100,000 and unrestricted reserves of less than six months running costs.
Two Zoom Q&A sessions will take place during the application window for potential applicants to learn more about the application process and for questions to be raised:
- Tuesday 6 July 2021, 10.30am – 11.30am
- Tuesday 13 July 2021, 1.30pm – 2.30pm
Anyone wishing to attend the sessions should email email@example.com.
The application documents will be available to download from 1 July 2021 to 12 August 2021.
