FUNDING: HPV Vaccine Community Grant (Faith & YP) – apply now

This is a new short timeframe grants programme to raise awareness of the HPV vaccine. It is targeted at young people and is particularly for faith-based organisations and groups which work with young people (11-19 years).

RM Partners NHS Cancer Alliance for North West and South West London is offering up to £500 to local community and voluntary groups to deliver a one-off awareness session this May focusing on the HPV Vaccine.

Local groups and voluntary sector organisations working with or delivering community services across North West and South West London can apply. Priority will be given to applications which reach communities with poorer health outcomes, in particular:

  • those working with faith-based communities
  • those working with youth groups, children and family centres or secondary schools
  • specific groups experiencing poorer access to healthcare or from at risk populations, such those living in areas of deprivation or ethnic minority communities.

You will be supported to share key messaging about the HPV vaccine, to answer frequently asked questions about the vaccine, and given guidance on how to structure conversations with your communities. All events, activities and messaging must meet the Alliance’s criteria to support local communities to stay healthy and well.

At least one person from organisations that apply must attend a clinical webinar held by RM Partners Cancer Alliance and should hold the relevant date:

  • Wednesday 15 April 2026, 10.30am – 11.30am – The HPV Vaccine & Faith
  • Wednesday 29 April 2026, 10.30am -11.30am – The HPV Vaccine & Young People

The funding will be released after applicants have attended.

It must be used to facilitate in-person conversations with your communities and can be used to help cover costs of an activity you have already planned to take place – eg. venue cost or refreshments.

Alternatively, you could plan a new event or activity where you will cascade information and materials related to the campaign. Ideally this would be complemented by online promotion via LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram or your regular newsletters/communication channels.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 22 March 2026.

Decisions about applications will be provided by email week commencing 6 April 2026.

Application is by the online application form you can find here.

In South West London, Kingston Voluntary Action is managing the grant process on behalf of RM Partners. If you have any questions or need any support in completing your application, please email eneida.capaldi@kva.org.uk.
