Support from the National Heritage Fund is available for projects to explore, test and grow new ways of working across the heritage workforce.
If you currently work within heritage, are excited by the opportunity to pioneer new ways of working and have a compelling challenge connected to the future of the heritage workforce, you could be eligible to apply.
It is a pilot initiative intended to build innovation capacity within, across and between different parts of heritage around a shared priority challenge of the workforce, skills and ways of working needed for the future
It offers specialist support, working alongside a cohort of supportive peers and a grant of up to £25,000 to help explore potential solutions to the challenges of tomorrow.
The funding can be used to support organisations to find practical solutions that will help them and also be shared across the sector. It can be used to cover costs over a six-month project period including salaries, travel and subsistence and essential materials and equipment.
UK heritage organisations of any size or type can apply.
The funding is offered alongside six months of support.
Application support currently available includes a webinar recording from July 2022 or you can email londonandsouth@heritagefund.org.uk.
The closing date for applications for this first phase of the fund is 27 September 2022.
The interview period will be 16 November to 1 December 2022.
Decisions will be announced in December 2022.
