Every two months, small grants are awarded to creative people of colour based in the UK.
Grand Plan is a fund run by creatives for creatives who give their time and money to back the realisation of cultural projects.
Small grants of £1,000 are awarded to creative people of colour based in the UK who want to make a cultural project happen. It could be, for example, poetry, fashion, painting – or whatever you want.
Application is by a short online form. Their team reads every application and create a long-list which is reviewed by a panel of independent judges who make the final decisions. They offer 10 grants every two months.
The grants can cover the cost of equipment, courses, your time, materials, travel or whatever your project needs. They won’t part fund projects where £1,000 doesn’t cover the majority of the cost.
Across the grants, they try to fund a range of creative practices, people in different areas of the UK and at different stages in their creative journey.
The next deadlines for application are 30 September and 30 November 2022.
