The Gordon Fraser Charitable Trust has a current donation programme of approximately £140,000, awarded to around 100 charities each year.

Recipients must be registered charities but the trustees have complete discretion as to the type of charitable work supported.

In recent years there has been some concentration on support for charities working with children or young people and those active in the environment and the arts.

There has also been a preference for applications from and for Scotland but this is not to the exclusion of applications from elsewhere.

The Trust considers applications each quarter in January, April, July and October.
